As director of LNMI, I have realized that the jobs is much the same as
that of a CEO of a multinational company. When I donned the mantle,
there was tremendous pressure as I was heading one of India's most
reputed institutes. I realized that we were nurturing corporate India's
future.
Besides providing the students with state-of-art facilities it has been
our continuous effort to expose them to the realities of corporate
world. We have successfully managed this with some of the most respected
minds from the industry, which frequently visit the campus and share
their experiences with the students. |
There has also been a conscious effort to introduce novel methods of
learning and in that direction, we have conducted various Management
development programmes and taken initiatives like Industry mentorship
programmes.
In our efforts, I must acknowledge the support of our alumni, who have
been constantly assisting us in improving our standards and partnering
us in becoming the best management institute in the country. There has
been a paradigm shift in management education and is pioneering this
change
We have also introduced - the "Management Week", where corporate
personalities holding top positions in various functional areas of
management guide, inspire and share their vast repertoire of knowledge
and experience with our students. Thus, my aim is to make not just
India's best management institute but also corporate India's
preferred choice.
