INDUSTRIAL VISIT by MBA Students of L. N. Mishra Institute, Patna DATE–02/ 03/2024

An industrial tour to Bela bag cluster & textile industry Muzaffarpur was organised for the Post graduate students of MBA, sec-C with three faculty members, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Tiwari, Ms. Ragini Sinha & Ms. Swarnima Kishore on 2nd March (Saturday) 2024. The students were divided into six(6) groups and six(6) Jeevika didis escorted the students from one section to the next, explaining the process involved in the making of bags of various kinds.
During the visit the students learnt one of the things that makes Jeevika unique is the value place on human resource, showing a genuine passion for the self development of the three thousand (3000) plus workers in the industry.
Pre lunch the students were briefed with the journey of the Jeevika didis since the inception of the industry, their passion and dedication for self upliftment. Working under limited resources and not so conducive environment was a thorough learning for the management students.
The second round of visit post lunch was the textile industry where hundreds of skilled labourers were working for AURELIA–the company which redefines
Indian ethnic by staying in the realm of traditions yet adapting some modern influences.
The brand has successfully expanded it’s retail footprints in the country over 500+ standalone stores across 90+cities
W-another premium ready -to-wear contemporary apparel brand for Indian Urban Women was another attraction in the line of textile industry.
W-assortment consists of salwar kameez, tunics, work wear, festive wear and fusion wear comprising skirts and trousers.
It was a thorough learning for the students as they learnt skills of cutting, stitching, assembling packaging and transporting.
